Virginia sets the maximum fee per notarial act by statute. Contact us for current pricing. Mobile visits include a travel fee based on distance.

Appointments are strongly recommended to ensure availability. Same-day appointments may be available — call us at +1 (804) 729-8760.

Most documents can be notarized. However, notaries cannot notarize documents that are incomplete, in a language they cannot read, or where the signer cannot be properly identified or appears under duress.

Do not sign your document beforehand. You must sign in the presence of the notary — this is a legal requirement.

A current, valid, government-issued photo ID is required — driver's license, state ID card, or passport. Expired IDs are not acceptable.

When a new employee works remotely, their employer may use an authorised representative to physically inspect identity and work authorization documents and complete Section 2 of Form I-9. We provide this service for employers hiring remote workers in Virginia.
